I liked the ability to grow and move up in position within. The management is very friendly as well as the employees.

What I wish was different

I wish I had more employees in my department so that everything could get accomplished on time and in the correct fashion.

Advice

I would share the advice of asking for a raise and negotiation in your interview. Also, drink a lot of water as this job is very physically demanding.

What I liked

Its a rewarding job and its quick to learn. I liked that I had good relations with my managers and coworkers.

What I wish was different

I wish that the store itself would have given our department more hours as we had alot of employees. I also wish that they would have kept on my manager.

Advice

One piece of advice I would give is to not let your coworkers push you into doing more than they had previously told you you would be doing; unless you are comfortable with it.

Patient interactions, learning about medicine, learning about billing techniques to different types of insurances, working with good co-workers.

Pay more, less drama, patients were more understanding, less demanding and less rude.

Multiple experiences helping patients save money on their medications, helping them with an insurance issue or just getting someone to smile during their visit to the pharmacy.

I lived 30 minutes away, back home and moving for the summer was pretty terrible. I put a lot of miles on my vehicle.

I enjoyed getting to see people I knew in the store and getting cashier experience.

What I wish was different

I wish my supervisor had been both kinder and more understanding. My co-workers were also incredibly rude. I also wish I could have learned more about how money is networked throughout the store and gotten experience in my majors, Accounting and Finance.

Advice

Before and after interviewing for a job, make sure you are a good fit for the people who work there. Stop by the workplace and visit with some of the workers, if possible; if most of the people are unpleasant or you do not feel like you fit in or you do not feel like you will get the experience you desire, be on the lookout for other options. Apply to multiple places!
