Social Media Writer Internship (Unpaid, 1-Year Commitment)

5–10 hours per week | Remote

CATALYST PLANET is a Gen Z/Millennial media brand at the intersection of travel and social action — often described as “Nat Geo meets Next Gen Wanderlust.” We produce original content and connect conscious travelers to meaningful global experiences.

We are seeking a Social Media Writer Intern to write all social copy across our platforms: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, and Pinterest.

What You’ll Do:

Write engaging, platform-specific social media posts for daily publishing

Craft captions that drive clicks, saves, shares, and conversation

Adapt tone and messaging for different platforms and audiences

Ensure posts are accurate, on-brand, and detail-perfect

Collaborate with our team on content calendars and campaign themes

You’re a strong, concise writer with excellent grammar and attention to detail

You understand how copy performs differently on Instagram vs. TikTok vs. X

You love travel, global culture, and social impact

You’re reliable, organized, and can meet deadlines consistently

You’re excited to help grow a purpose-driven media brand
